The work focused on the interactions that influenced the development of Asian and East-Central European cultures and continue to shape them today. The starting point was the relationship between Chinese porcelain and the nippes found in Hungarian homes, with a particular focus on how Chinese porcelain making influenced pieces from Herend and Hollóháza. This led to the concept of the blue and white tiger nippe. During the research, an unexpected phenomenon emerged: traditional lace tablecloths in the region had an influence on Chinese industry, which now mass-produces similar pieces, even making them available on online platforms. Crocheted tablecloths remain an essential accessory for porcelain figurines. This two-way cultural dialogue formed the basis for the main motifs of the work.

Az alkotás középpontjában azok a kölcsönhatások álltak, amelyek az ázsiai és a kelet-közép-európai kultúrák alakulását befolyásolták, illetve ma is formálják őket. Kiindulópontként a kínai porcelán és a hazai otthonokban megtalálható nippek kapcsolata szolgált, különös tekintettel arra, miként hatott a kínai porcelánkészítés a herendi és hollóházi darabokra. Ennek nyomán született meg a kék-fehér tigrisnipp koncepciója. A kutatás során egy váratlan jelenség is kirajzolódott: a térségben hagyományosnak számító csipketerítők hatással voltak a kínai iparra, amely ma már tömegesen gyárt hasonló darabokat, akár online platformokon keresztül is elérhetővé téve őket. A horgolt terítő pedig továbbra is meghatározó kiegészítője a porcelánfiguráknak. Ez a kétirányú kulturális párbeszéd adta a munka fő motívumainak alapját.
